Gorgeous Green & Milky Peanut Butter Dream

 

Making smoothies has to be one of the fastest, most refreshing and tastiest go-tos any day of the week. I tend to make a green spinach or chocolate peanut butter smoothie for breakfast but as of late have found myself concocting my daily smoothie during lunch, which is super beneficial when I have an afternoon workout planned afterward. Afternoon smoothies seem to be working better for me and I love spending time creating new mixtures and recipes that are healthy, tasty and have a nice texture.IMG_6926

Whether i’m going to an intense boot camp class or enjoying a relaxing yoga hour, beginning a workout feeling light on the feet and refreshed is vital to having an affective sweat sesh and smoothies are the perfect drink beforehand.

Here are two smoothie recipes that do entirely different things for me. My Gorgeous Green Smoothie is what i’ll make for a jolt of energy and glowing skin and my Milky Peanut Dream is my go-to for protein and when I want to satisfy my sweet tooth.

Milky Peanut Butter Dream

  1. Hand full of ice cubes
  2. 1 cup of chocolate milk
  3. 1 banana
  4. 2 tsp. unsalted creamy peanut butter
  5. 1 scoop of whey protein powder

Gorgeous Green

  1. 1/2 cup of water
  2. 2-3 hand fulls baby spinach
  3. 1 1/2 bananas
  4. 1 cup pineapple
  5. 1/2 tsp. chia seeds
  6. 1/2 tsp. coconut oil
